Hilton Garden Inn Auburn

My girlfriend booked a weekend here for my birthday, and to say the least, the entire experience was wonderful. The staff at the Hilton were very professional and nice, any problems we had they addressed very quickly. The rooms, the pool and the entire hotel was very very clean. The breakfast buffet is worth the money, there are plenty of options to keep you full. We visited the refinery and the bartender was very nice, and helped make suggestions bc she was out alcohol for special drinks. It was an overall really good experience.

Even checking in at the last minute, the night auditor on 10/27, I believe his name was Paul, was very patient and helped us find a very comfortable and clean room for the night. He was very welcoming, and even though there was a larger reservation in the room next to the lobby, he was immediately at the front counter to aid us in getting a room for the night. Paul was also very understanding and patient as the payment method was causing some issues at the beginning. The room itself was a classic Hilton room, very comfortable, spacious and comes equipped with some nice amenities. I definitely would recommend coming here, as the staff is very pleasant and the building’s lobby and other main areas are beautiful.

I wish I could give this place a 0 out of 5. Absolutely the most unprofessional hotel I've ever booked a room with. I called to cancel a room immediately after booking one and kept saying that I only wanted to cancel if I get a REFUND. He said nothing about not being refunded. If I wasn't going to get a refund and I was AWARE of that, well common sense, I would have kept the room. I said okay if I don't get a refund then please keep the room I already paid $294.00 for it (which is expensive for a low class hotel) he said no I can't it's already canceled. So I was charged $294.00 for a room I don't even have. I've stayed here multiple times for weddings and my family has given them so much of our money. Never ever in my life will I stay here again. Not to mention I called tonight and whoever the girl is that's working the front desk is NASTYYYYY as hell. You guys should really polish up your customer service skills, cause they're lacking. I do not recommend this absolutely disastrous hotel. It's not even clean or nice to begin with. Good luck if you book here.
